The Benetti brokerage market
Benetti occupies a unique position in the superyacht brokerage market: no other builder offers the same combination of fleet depth, brand recognition, and price range. With approximately 145 yachts listed on the global brokerage market at any given time — across platforms including YachtWorld, Boat International, and specialist broker fleets — a buyer looking for a Benetti has genuine choice at almost every size and budget point.
This liquidity is a direct consequence of production volume. Benetti has delivered more than 400 yachts across six decades, averaging 15 deliveries per year in the modern era. That creates a constant flow of vessels entering the secondary market as owners upgrade within the Benetti range, move to a different builder, or exit yacht ownership entirely. For buyers, this volume means more comparables, more negotiating leverage, and — crucially — a clearer picture of what a Benetti at any given size and age should cost.
The market is broadly split between two categories: the composite semi-custom models (Classic, Tradition, Delfino, Vision, Fast, and the newer Oasis and Motopanfilo families) and the steel/aluminium custom yachts (everything above 48 metres built at Livorno). The dynamics of each segment are quite different, and understanding which category a particular vessel belongs to is the first step in any Benetti purchase.

Price guide by size and era
Benetti pricing on the brokerage market spans an extraordinarily wide range — from under €1 million for an older 28-metre composite yacht to €195 million for the 107-metre Mar (Lana). The following brackets provide general guidance based on current market conditions as of early 2026:
Composite semi-custom (28–44m)
- Classic 115 / Tradition 100 / Delfino 93 (pre-2010): €1.5–5 million. These are the workhorses of the pre-owned Benetti fleet — high-volume production models with proven hull platforms. Condition and refit history are the primary value drivers at this age.
- Classic 120 / Fast 125 / Vision 145 (2005–2015): €3–12 million. Larger composite models with more contemporary interiors. The Fast 125 commands a premium for its semi-displacement hull and higher cruising speed.
- Oasis 34M / Motopanfilo 37M / Diamond 44M (post-2020): €12–22 million. Current-generation models that have only recently begun appearing on the secondary market. Strong demand and limited supply keep prices close to new-build equivalents.
Steel/aluminium semi-custom (50–75m)
- B.Now 50M–72M (post-2023): €25–55 million. Very few on the brokerage market yet given how recently these models entered production. Early resales, where they occur, are trading close to original delivery prices.
- Older steel semi-custom (pre-2015): €8–25 million depending on size and specification. These vessels offer substantial value for buyers willing to invest in a modernisation refit.
Full-custom (48–108m)
- Custom 48–65m (2005–2020): €10–45 million. A broad range reflecting the diversity of specification at this scale. Heavily specified charter yachts with recent refits trade at the upper end; privately used vessels with deferred maintenance trade lower.
- Custom 65–90m (2010–present): €30–80 million. Lionheart (90m) would be expected in this range if she came to market. Vessels of this scale trade infrequently.
- Gigayachts 100m+ (2019–2020): €100–200+ million. Only one is currently listed: Mar (107m) at €195 million. IJE and Luminosity are not on the market.

What to look for in a pre-owned Benetti
The diversity of the Benetti fleet means that pre-purchase due diligence varies significantly depending on the vessel category. A 15-year-old composite Classic 115 requires a fundamentally different assessment from a 5-year-old steel-hulled custom yacht.
For composite (GRP) models: the primary concerns are osmotic blistering of the hull laminate, structural integrity of the deck and bulkhead joints, and the condition of the Caterpillar or MTU engine installation. GRP hulls do not corrode like steel, but they degrade over time — particularly if antifoul maintenance has been neglected. A thorough moisture survey using impedance meters is essential. Many buyers budget €200,000–500,000 for a cosmetic and mechanical refresh on an older composite Benetti.
For steel/aluminium models: hull thickness measurements (ultrasonic testing) are the critical assessment. Steel corrodes, and a yacht that has spent years in warm Mediterranean waters will show different wear patterns from one based in northern Europe. Particular attention should be paid to the waterline area, the shaft brackets, and any areas where dissimilar metals are in contact (galvanic corrosion). Aluminium superstructures should be inspected for stress cracking around window frames and deck joints. Generator and propulsion plant condition — including running hours, service records, and emissions compliance — is the other major variable.
In both cases, the quality of the documentation trail matters. Benetti vessels built since the Azimut acquisition in 1985 generally come with comprehensive build records and classification documentation. Older vessels from the pre-Azimut era may have less complete records, which can complicate the survey process and affect resale value.

Understanding the model range
One of the challenges of the Benetti brokerage market is the sheer number of model names and families the yard has produced over the decades. Unlike Lürssen or Feadship, where every yacht is a unique custom build, Benetti's production history includes dozens of model names — many of which have been discontinued and replaced. Here is a simplified guide:
Discontinued models (frequently seen on the brokerage market)
- Classic 115 / Classic 120 / Classic 121: Composite displacement yachts from the early 2000s to mid-2010s. Tri-deck layout, Caterpillar engines. The backbone of the pre-owned Benetti market.
- Tradition 100: A slightly more traditional-styled composite model. Popular in the Mediterranean charter fleet.
- Delfino 93 / Delfino 95: Compact displacement yachts named after Benetti's 1960s original. Practical layout, good sea-keeping.
- Fast 125 / Veloce 140: Semi-displacement hulls for higher cruising speeds. Premium pricing on the secondary market due to the performance advantage.
- Vision 145: One of the larger composite models. Contemporary interior, tri-deck layout with flybridge.
Current production models
- CLASS: Motopanfilo 37M, Diamond 44M — composite displacement, built at Viareggio.
- OASIS: 34M, 40M — composite, featuring the signature Oasis Deck stern concept with fold-out wings and infinity pool.
- B.NOW: 50M, 60M, 67M, 72M — steel/aluminium semi-custom, optional Oasis Deck, built at Livorno.
- B.YOND: 37M, 57M — explorer-influenced, E-Mode hybrid propulsion by Siemens Energy.
- B.CENTURY: 55M, 62M, 68M, 75M — the newest semi-custom family bridging B.Now and full custom.
- CUSTOM: 48m to 108m+ — full bespoke, built at Livorno to individual owner briefs.
For full details on the current production range and ordering timelines, see our Benetti new builds 2026 guide. For buyers weighing whether to purchase pre-owned or commission new, the key variables are timeline (brokerage: 3–6 months vs new build: 18–60 months), personalisation (brokerage: accept as-is vs new build: fully bespoke), and budget (brokerage: typically 20–40% below new-build equivalent depending on age).
For a deeper analysis of this decision, see our guide to custom vs semi-custom superyachts and the broader superyacht running costs breakdown — because the purchase price is only the beginning. Annual operating costs of 10–15% of the vessel's value are standard across the Benetti fleet, regardless of whether the yacht was bought new or pre-owned.
